The distance is twent eight miles, - fifteen miles from Saratoga to Mercal Station, by the Troy and Whitehall line, and thirtee from thence to Caldwell. On the way we pass t of great interest and heauty, - Glen's Falls, nine and the Bloody Pond, four miles from the lake. Spots ought to be visited from Caldwell, and shoul a day devoted to them. We have only time to gin them in priming onward to the lakes, but we will pan to describe them particularly here.
