Download Who, What, Where, When(?) & Why Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
As the Introduction in this book clearly states, this book could be fiction or non-fiction. If it comes close to being non-fiction, then the story contained herein, following the prophetic Scriptures cited, depicts a future history unfolding very close to what actually will happen. That aside, whether fiction or non-fiction, the person reading this book now will be challenged to evaluate our current history to determine if it could lead to a future history as described in this book. The goal of the author in writing this novel is clear! It is for the reader to ask the same question posed by the Apostle Peter "What kind of person should I be?" (2 Peter 3:11). The answer found in the same passage..."Holy and godly as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming." GALE NEWMAN was born and raised in Turlock, California. He attended U.C. Berkeley on an athletic scholarship. After graduation, he attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. From there he received a Masters of Divinity degree and a few years later, a Doctor of Ministry degree. He has served churches in Oregon, Indiana and California. While serving those churches he instituted Home Bible Studies, believing them to be essential for Christian growth. His first book, The Truth About The Lie, was formatted to be used by Christians for personal Bible study or for groups within churches to be used in home Bible-study settings. This book could be used for the same purposes since each chapter ends with Bible verses to be read. The references are to be used to understand the background of the chapter just read.

Download Essential Epidemiology Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
The new edition of this popular textbook remains a clear and practical introduction to epidemiology for students in all areas of health. By emphasising the role of epidemiology across a broad range of health monitoring and research, it gives students an understanding of the fundamental principles common to all areas of epidemiology. It also integrates the study of infectious and chronic diseases as well as public health and clinical epidemiology. Avoiding complex mathematics, it steps through the methods and potential problems underlying health data and reports, while maintaining a balance of rigour and clarity. The nuts-and-bolts of epidemiology are embedded in the wider international health perspective through recent and classical examples across different areas of health to engage students from a range of backgrounds. Concepts are illustrated with charts and graphs, and end-of-chapter questions test understanding (with answers provided). Online resources include further exercises, slides for teaching and useful weblinks.

Download Elite White Men Ruling Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
This book examines the “who, what, when, where, and how” of elite-white-male dominance in U.S. and global society. In spite of their domination in the United States and globally that we document herein, elite white men have seldom been called out and analyzed as such. They have received little to no explicit attention with regard to systemic racism issues, as well as associated classism and sexism issues. Almost all public and scholarly discussions of U.S. racism fail to explicitly foreground elite white men or to focus specifically on how their interlocking racial, class, and gender statuses affect their globally powerful decisionmaking. Some of the power positions of these elite white men might seem obvious, but they are rarely analyzed for their extraordinary significance. While the principal focus of this book is on neglected research and policy questions about the elite-white-male role and dominance in the system of racial oppression in the United States and globally, because of their positioning at the top of several societal hierarchies the authors periodically address their role and dominance in other oppressive (e.g., class, gender) hierarchies.

Download Politics: Who Gets What, When, How Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Politics: Who Gets What, When, How, which was first published in 1936, is the classic analysis of power and manipulation by ruling elites and counter-elites. The themes that occur throughout this essay have become the guideposts for most modern research in techniques of propaganda and political organization. “It is unquestionably one of the most influential treatments of politics published in this century.”—David B. Truman, Prof.of Public Law and Government, Columbia University “This book is a landmark of modern political science.”—Daniel Lerner, Professor of Sociology, M.I.T. “For over three decades the students of politics have had their intellectual horizons constantly broadened by Harold Lasswell. There is probably no man in American political science who has brought to bear as many new approaches to the analysis of political behaviour as he has. There is perhaps no better way to get the essence of Lasswell’s thought than in his book, Politics: Who Gets What, When, How.”—Seymour Martin Lipset, Department of Sociology, U.C. Berkeley
