After building a time frame for the creation of the Western Message Petroglyphs, "Stone Diary" further explores of the nature of the carvings are placed in a historical setting with the histories of the locales and times of each of the sites. Study of the symbols from various cultures that are used in the carvings and the historical setting of the sites, creates the ground work for interpretations of some of the Western Message Petroglyphs. These carved panels of symbols reveal new insights into history and who the carver was.
