But who then knew, or could have antmpated the epidemical nature, universal spread, and fatal effects of that horrible disease. This Agricol was himself a plain honest well-meaning'man, and now'ise deficient either in understanding, or spirit; and had he fallen into good hands, might have made an excellent Steward.
