Six-Guns Blazing contains two explosive short novels featuring historical figures from the Old West in wildly fictional new adventures. The first, Wyatt Earp and the Devil Incarnate, pits the legendary lawman and his right-hand man, Doc Holliday, against a deadly serial killer leaving a trail of dead bodies in his wake. The second novella, Emmett Dalton Rides Again!, imagines notorious bank robber Emmett Dalton picking up his guns as an elderly man in 1933 and robbing banks alongside the likes of John Dillinger and Machine Gun Kelly. This book contains graphic violence and is not suitable for readers under the age of 18.

He’s handsome. He’s charming. He’s a total gentleman . . . and he’s totally outgunned and outnumbered. He’s Michael Patrick Obañon—a role that has Antonio Banderas written all over it. Obañon’s lost his inheritance—a 100,000-acre New Mexico spread—and he could lose his life if he’s not careful. A ruthless band of renegades have seized his land, and he’s determined to get it back.. Obañon’s got one secret weapon: his fierce intelligence. He can’t outshoot the outlaws, so he’ll have to find a way to outwit them. . . . Part Irish, part Mexican, Michael Patrick Obañon is as American as they come—crafty, confident, and cool under fire. It may be one man against the world, but before he’s done the world will know how the West will be won. In the 1930s a radio program, Writers and Readers, hosted by Bob de Haven, delivered news of the hottest authors of the day—interviewing the writers behind the stories. Here’s how he promoted an upcoming broadcast with L. Ron Hubbard: “He has placed in print a million and a half words. He is a quantity producer, well paid and in constant demand. He has outlined some valuable information on his lead novelette . . . Six-Gun Caballero.” It is an introduction to Hubbard that is as pertinent now as it was then. “Hubbard uses the traditional Western form to tell a challenging and unpredictable story, where the hero outwits his attackers instead of merely having to outshoot them. . . . so intelligent and suspenseful.” —SomebodyDies.com

THE WAY OF THE GUN... In the years between the end of the Civil War and the dawn of the 20th century, when much of the American West was still a frontier and word-of-mouth was the primary conduit for information from one territory to the next, the line between fact and legend was hazy at best. Stories of bigger-than-life figures emerged and traveled quickly, spreading across the plains like wildfire and cutting through desert country like a hot wind. Their names were only whispered around campfires or in smoky saloons, but their reputations were nearly as powerful as the weapons on their belts. Some were soldiers and lawmen, others gamblers and thieves. Still others defied description completely, but all were rugged and resourceful men and women, fast on a horse and even faster on the draw, working inside or outside the law - and often exploring the wide-open spaces in between. SIX-GUN LEGENDS returns to those thrilling days of yesteryear with stories by ten talented writers: Fred Adams, Terry Alexander, Jim Beard, John C. Bruening, Trevor Holliday, Jeffrey J. Mariotte, Terrence McCauley, Will Murray, Christopher Ryan and Duane Spurlock. Each of these storytellers spins a tale of the mystery, mayhem, intrigue, and adventure that inevitably unfold when one of these legendary entities steps out of the collective imagination and into the spotlight with guns blazing. Saddle up and take a ride into the past - but be ready to make a fast draw at any moment along the way. Sooner or later, this trail will bring you face to face with the SIX-GUN LEGENDS of the Old West.

Hopalong Cassidy is a cowboy hero created by the author Clarence Mulford, who wrote a series of popular short stories and many novels based on the character. In his early writings, Mulford portrayed the character as rude, dangerous, and rough-talking. He had a wooden leg which caused him to walk with a little "hop", hence the nickname. The character—as played by movie actor William Boyd in films adapted from Mulford's books—was transformed into a clean-cut, sarsaparilla-drinking hero. Sixty-six popular films appeared._x000D_ The Coming of Cassidy and Others_x000D_ Hopalong Cassidy_x000D_ Bar-20 Days_x000D_ Buck Peters, Ranchman_x000D_ The Bar-20 Three_x000D_ Tex_x000D_ Clarence E. Mulford (1883–1956) created Hopalong Cassidy in 1904 while living in Fryeburg, Maine, and the many short stories and 28 novels were adapted to radio, feature film, television, and comic books, often deviating significantly from the original stories, especially in the character's traits. But more than just writing a very popular series of Westerns, Mulford recreated an entire detailed and authentic world filled with characters drawn from his extensive library research.
