This book excerpt is of an edition of the 19th-century magazine Atkinson's Casket, and tells of the Nine-Days Queen, Lady Jane Grey. Atkinson discusses Grey's lineage and claim to the throne, and discusses her relation to King Henry VIII. Atkinson also touches upon Catherine of Aragon in the piece, illustrating her personal nature and character.
