"The present study is a thirteen-year follow up of subjects by Steven McNeel and Mirjam Fauth of Bethel University of their studies of moral judgment, empathy, and orthodoxy. Data were collected in 2006 (13 years following initial testing) from participants not reached for the previous follow-up study. Results showed significant growth in moral judgment during college years, and significant regression in P-scored at the time of alumni testing. Empathy but not orthodoxy, showed significant change over time. Overall empathy, orthodoxy, and diversity scores did not show statistically significant correlation with moral development scores. Further analysis revealed correlation between moral development and perspective-talking (an empathy subset), and social problems (a subset of diversity)."--leaf 4.
