Having a total northern frontage of 886 feet. The central building, 348 by 168 feet, is of fire-proof construction. It contains a large hall for statuary. 94 by 157 feet, with galleries on either side for paintings and other precious art works. The side pavilions are each by 422 feet, containing many galleries. The buildings enclose on three sides a beautiful court. M2 by 580 feet. The site is upon the wooded plateau. Sixty feet above the general level of the main group of buildings, just behind the Festival Hall and Terrace of States above the Cascade gardens. The cost of the Palace of Art exceeds and is from designs by Case Gilbert. The Goldie Construction Co. Are the builders.
