This Special Issue includes fifteen original state-of-the-art research articles from leading scholars that examine cross-linguistic influence in bilingual speech. This thesis is concerned with bilinguals' phonological organisation and how this affects the perception and production of the segments of spoken language. Specially the work examined the effect of language context on L2-dominant Greek-English bilinguals' perception and production of voiced and voiceless stop consonants in various contexts (Syllable-initial, intervocalic and medial post-nasal).
