For those who read my last book CRAZY MISTAKES WE PASTORS MAKE, they will probably be surprised I made more mistakes! Darkness has one major advantage; it reminds us of the beauty of light. In my humble experience as a trainer and spiritual mentor, I discovered, success is the quickest way to failure if not properly managed. Coming from the position of leadership, one has discovered, a lot of times, it is an untitled man God depends upon to make an impact upon men. Kings, business leaders and pastors already have a high standard to live up to and that is where many times, they fail. I have stumbled many times myself, but in the words of a man, the harder a leader falls, the higher the bounce. Many of us as God's leaders and servants have contributed immensely to misrepresenting the faith and ignoring the grace we have been given to mentor souls. Yes, we don't go out all the way to commit errors but overtly or covertly, we may end up causing a lot of pains and upset to the ones we are called to lead. Our motives may be right but sometimes our strategies need a revisit. My motivation for penning this satirical but insightful book comes from discussions I had with a backslidden Christian believer who has turned to the Bahai faith and a Pentecostal preacher who left his calling for a secular post. In their many disappointments and pains, I found myself. I am hoping to reach some leaders whose vision may be blurring and trust Jesus, some children of God will learn from my experiences. Thank you Jehovah, for giving me Jesus in my heart. Tunde Babalola January 2015.

God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 This book is a cry from the heart of John Piper. He is pleading that God himself, as revealed in Christ's death and resurrection, is the ultimate and greatest gift of the gospel. None of Christ's gospel deeds and none of our gospel blessings are good news except as means of seeing and savoring the glory of Christ. Forgiveness is good news because it opens the way to the enjoyment of God himself. Justification is good news because it wins access to the presence and pleasures of God himself. Eternal life is good news because it becomes the everlasting enjoyment of Christ. All God's gifts are loving only to the degree that they lead us to God himself. That is what God's love is: his commitment to do everything necessary (most painfully the death of his only Son) to enthrall us with what is most deeply and durably satisfying-namely, himself. Saturated with Scripture, centered on the cross, and seriously joyful, this book leads us to satisfaction for the deep hungers of the soul. It touches us at the root of life where practical transformation gets its daily power. It awakens our longing for Christ and opens our eyes to his beauty. Piper writes for the soul-thirsty who have turned away empty and in desperation from the mirage of methodology. He invites us to slow down and drink from a deeper spring. "This is eternal life," Jesus said, "that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." This is what makes the gospel-and this book-good news.

A blueprint for men who want to instill their love for God in the hearts of their children. Who is that guy in the mirror? To your son or daughter, he's 'Dad'---the most important man in the world. Men's leaders, speakers, and authors Patrick Morley and David Delk share with you the secrets of grace-filled dads who understand that their most important work is to help shape the attitudes and beliefs of the next generation. This book shows you how to father from your heart to your child's heart. Rather than only seeking the right performance from them, you can move into a dynamic relationship with your children that models what it means to love God and others truly and passionately. Start by asking the right question---not 'What is my child doing?' but 'Why is my child doing this?' Practical guidelines show you simple ways to help your children thrive, to build a firm foundation of faith for your family, and to empower your children by giving them both roots and wings. Currently, only sixty percent of children raised in church follow Jesus as adults. Will your son or daughter be one of them? We believe God will use this book to help you disciple your children to love God for a lifetime.

TB Joshua, Servant of God is a new biography of TB Joshua (1963-2021) which he personally approved shortly before his unexpected passing to be with the Lord. He was a controversial figure known widely for the undoubted evidence of the power of God in healing and deliverance that characterised his ministry for over three decades. British authors Gary and Fiona Tonge explain their journey to discover this man from Lagos, Nigeria, for whom prayer and relationship with Jesus Christ were a moment by moment walk with a pure heart. Based on the authors’ twenty years experience with TB Joshua and his ministry, we discover a prophet and humanitarian consulted by Presidents of countries yet a friend of the humble and disadvantaged; a global evangelist who could fill stadiums to preach the gospel yet didn't make any charge for entry or took any personal offering. The book unveils the secret of TB Joshua’s relationship with Almighty God that enabled His power to flow through him. As you enter his story, you will find yourself renewing your hunger to know more of Jesus and dedicating yourself afresh to His mission.

In a time of shifting worldviews and changing expectations of the church, how does a pastor navigate the challenges, joys, and pains of ministry? How does a church support, love, and hold accountable its pastoral leaders? The key lies in the relationship between pastor and congregation – in the duet they are singing, in the rhythms of their life together. In this book, Gary Harder reflects on the difficulties and rewards, the missteps and humour that are part of learning that ministry duet. Here he celebrates the mysterious ways God works through, and sometimes in spite of, the people singing God’s songs together. We reach for harmony. We hear dissonant notes. We catch only a glimpse of God’s beautiful music. And that is enough.

Donald Anderson has always done what he was told and always tried to be what his father wanted him to be. Up until a certain point in his life, he was living and breathing a culture he was never sure of, and he wasn’t sure of his prepared destiny. He would come home one day to a devastating scene—a scene that would cause his steps to take a different course, leading him from his calling as a preacher in small Bailey County to the restless streets of Salem City. There he would learn of a new life and culture with his estranged cousin, Rico Martin, the self-proclaimed slumlord, to guide him from one sin to the next and ultimately to his true self. He would learn more about himself living a life of sin as his father would put it, then living his whole life preaching the gospel back in Bailey County. Then he meets a young woman in Salem City who would raise many questions in him about what’s right and wrong in God’s eyes. She would help him to face the past he tried desperately to escape.
