The Nasa Program In The 1990s And Beyond

In the late 1980s the U.S. space program stood at a crossroads. The momentum of the NASA program over the previous two decades brought NASA to a point where new activities would require substantial increases in the agency¿s budget. Critics of the NASA program called for even more ambitious goals, most prominently an expansion of manned space flight to the Moon or Mars.
