Once again, the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson continue in this acclaimed anthology series, with thirty-seven new tales presented in two companion volumes - more Holmes than could fit into one book! In 2015, The MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories was first published, a huge three-book set featuring over sixty new traditional Holmes exploits, all set within the correct time period. Soon, the demand for even more traditional Holmes adventures led to further volumes. The next year brought Part IV: 2016 Annual, and then Part V: Christmas Adventures. In spring 2017 there was Part VI: 2017 Annual, and that fall revealed the massive two-volume set, Parts VII and VIII: Eliminate the Impossible. Now we present another two simultaneous volumes, Parts IX and X: 2018 Annual (1879-1895) and (1896-1916). The detective Sherlock Holmes investigates The Scandal in Bohemia. In this comic adaptation Sherlock Holmes solves a number of intertwined cases including The Speckled Band. This is the English translation of the original work in Czech, which was voted comic book of the year 2013. It's the first of four Sherlock Holmes graphic novels by Petr Kopl.

Sherlock Holmes is truly a 'Man for All seasons', his image has been worked and re-worked for over a century now, and the Holmes of 1887 is not the Holmes of Today. In his multi-volume collection, we will show how different illustrators have visualised Holmes and the other characters who appeared in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works. Later volumes will celebrate Holmes in non-Canon stories as illustrators and authors put Holmes in other stories, but more of that later. This volume is not going to be very diverse, it is true to say that one person dominates. While it is true that there are illustrations by Charles Altamont Doyle, David Henry Friston, James Grieg and Walter Stanley Paget as well as all those images that appeared in the Bristol Observer, the majority of this book is going to be filled by one person, namely Sidney Paget. Just as nine tenths of an iceberg lies under the water, This book is 52/59's Sidney Paget, so if like me, you are an admirer of his work, you are in for a treat as every Sidney Paget Sherlock Holmes Image is here. If you don't like his work, skip this book and wait for later volumes, - You have been warned, but for many Sidney Paget's drawings of Holmes have the atmosphere of the period. The Fog filled labyrinth of London, the desolation of Dartmoor, and perhaps his most famous illustration as Holmes and Moriarty fight to the death at the top of the Reichenbach Falls. The contents of this book may have moved during transit, so care must be taken when opening this book.
