Grandma and Grandpa are always anxious to have their brood of younger grandchildren visit. It was along the lines of...Chocolate is to women what football is to men…” The idea stuck, and Harris began thinking that “people have these conflicting feelings about chocolate, and that a lot of people who have very little else in common relate to chocolate in more or less the same kind of way. The Lollipop Story came about because my children would wake up at night not feeling well. My children loved lollipops and rainbows. It was also way to learn the colors of rainbows. This was how the story came about.
