This is the story of two unlikely friends who meet unexpectedly and become extraordinary friends. This book is written by me and illustrated by my daughter. Chloé Doten, my daughter, is only eleven years old but has had a passion for drawing since the age of one. This is a story that comes from a young man who created the initial idea from within himself. I am just relating this story about a little Blue Bear. The original story was presented to me on a cold fall morning while I was driving the car to take my oldest son Dan to Stanley Lake High School. Dan must have been 16 years old and a senior. He said, "Dad, I had a dream last night, a really cool dream. I want to tell you about it." This series of stories is loosely based on the original story or actually the dream that was presented to me on that cold fall morning.

Little Bear loves his little boat. He rows it around Huckleberry Lake, fishing and dreaming. But then Little Bear begins to grow and grow, until one day he doesn’t fit in his little boat anymore! All children who experience growing pains will appreciate Little Bear’s predicament.
