If you're among the 1 in 20 people born as an "empath," life's about to get a whole lot better... * Does being with certain people leave you physically drained? * Do you seem to soak up other people's emotions like a sponge? * Do you feel overshadowed by others, not sure who you really are? * Have you tried other advice for empaths to no avail? * Do you secretly worry there's something wrong with you? Life as an empath (someone who can experience another person's reality) can be wonderful. And confusing. While it can give you an edge in every arena of your life, for unskilled empaths, it can mean a bewildering tidal wave of unwanted, unwelcome and usually unconscious empath merges with other people's energy. And that's no fun. But... What if you could learn how to turn that connection off whenever you wanted? That's the promise of The Empowered Empath. While both substantive and fun to read, don't let the lighthearted tone fool you: These are serious skills from the world's foremost expert at helping "born empaths"-Rose Rosetree. In this visionary work, Rosetree offers nothing less than: Simple, straightforward and proven techniques for consciously controlling your empath gifts-on command. And it gets better. Along the way, you'll discover that many "guru-prescribed" activities are, in fact, unnecessary, don't work, and -- if you understand what really makes an empath tick -- can't work. These include such busywork as: * Protecting yourself against "psychic vampires" * Using thoughts, feelings or behaviors to manage your sensitivity * Constantly trying to "clean up your energy field" * Doing grueling, ongoing work on your "boundaries" Instead, you'll discover a path that's far easier and more effective, and one that'll leave you with an enhanced sense of self, along with greater peace of mind, clarity, and personal power. Quit suffering and start living! Note: This is the full-length version of Rose's power-packed book for empaths. For a shorter edition, choose "The Empowered Empath -- Quick & Easy." *** Rose Rosetree, an award-winning teacher and the founder of Rosetree Energy Spirituality, is the author of "Empowered by Empathy," the first book ever written for empaths. Since then she has helped thousands of empaths to gain skills, the skills of "Empath Empowerment." Among her trademarked systems, Empath Empowerment(r) helps empaths to lead more powerful and fulfilling lives. Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 Empaths have a better understanding of energy than they do the words coming out of a person’s mouth. They can listen to someone speaking a language they don’t understand, but they have full insight into what they are trying to express based on their energy. #2 Energies do not die. They exist outside of time, and you can use them to travel throughout the universe. Empaths feel other people’s pain and distress, and they can feel every negative emotion even though they don’t belong to them. They can also feel other people’s love, happiness, and vitality.

Learn how to embrace other people's feelings while validating your own with this guided workbook's 100+ writing prompts and activities. Empathy is the act of experiencing the world as you think or perceive someone else does. Many people try to improve their ability to empathize, with the goal of becoming a more compassionate, kind, and generous person. For empaths and highly sensitive people (HSPs), however, empathy can be debilitating. If you are an empath, you could actually be so highly empathic that you literally feel others people's feelings. This can lead you to becoming so focused on others and world events that you may struggle to focus on your own life, feelings, and goals. You may also experience empath fatigue, which leads to all kinds of physical and emotional problems that can detract from your ability to enjoy your life. If you are a highly sensitive person (HSP), you often feel overwhelmed by sensory input, which makes you sensitive to stimuli like noise, raging emotions, or seeing violence. You can become so affected by others' moods that overstimulation can cause nervous exhaustion. Whether you're an empath or an HSP, The Empowered Empath will show you how to validate the feelings of others while protecting your own feelings and experiences so you can ultimately heal. This friendly and warm, yet authoritative, guided workbook will help you to: Identify yourself as highly sensitive or an empath, along with your strengths and weaknesses Calm hyper-empathy Manage empathy fatigue Master your emotions Identify initial trauma and vulnerabilities Bolster emotional resilience Set boundaries Learn various ways to protect your spirit Chapters include quizzes as part of the more than 100 unique, focused writing prompts as well as activities such as grounding, meditation, and creating shields to protect your spirit. What are Empaths?Empaths are highly sympathizing people, who possess an avid ability to sense the thoughts and feelings of those around them. Therapists use the term empath to refer to people who are capable of experiencing a great amount of empathy, usually to the extent of being able to put themselves in the shoes of the other person emotionally. However, the term empath can also be associated with a spiritual term, describing a person with the capability to read the emotions of others. Being an empath comes with various benefits. For example, empaths are typically amazing friends and partners. They are wonderful listeners. They are generous and big-hearted. They are always there for friends in times of need. And they are typically gifted with high intuitiveness and emotional intelligence. However, the same qualities that make empaths such amazing friends can often take an emotional toll on empaths themselves. Since empaths are able to feel the same emotions that their friends are going through, which can cause them to be overcome with agonizing emotions, and even anxiety or trauma. Empaths often have difficulty with setting boundaries for themselves when they need to, usually when they are being overburdened with the problems of others. Additionally, it is not uncommon for empaths to feel exhausted after being around people for a long amount of time. Empaths are typically introverts, and rely on a healthy amount of alone time so they can reenergize their body and mind, A 2011 study by the Israel Journal of Psychiatry concluded that there might be a correlation between empaths and social anxiety. Large crowds can be especially stressful for empaths, as they are typically sensitive to the loud noises and unceasing chatter. Empaths are often most at peace when surrounded by nature and natural sounds. If you identify with these characterizes, you are more than likely an empath or have someone in your life who is, you know the struggles that come with being a highly empathetic person. Being this vulnerable to other people's pleas, emotions and energy can be incredibly taxing. For people who are just finding out about how they should deal with being empaths, knowing the pros and cons of being an empath can be very helpful. This way they can learn to know what they are in for and take care of themselves and protect their spaces and boundaries. Under certain circumstances, an empath might need to separate themselves from their empathic, or spiritual side. Giving yourself some opportunities to not be immersed in other people's problems will help with recovering their independence within their lives.

When you watch someone do something - serve a tennis ball, say, or get pinched by a needle and know precisely what they have to know like you are in their shoes? So far, there has also been something of a mirror neuron outcry, with some scientists suggesting exaggerating the importance of mirror neurons. Empaths are known for their much-developed ability to sense the emotions, thoughts, and feelings of the people around them, occurring in an estimated 5 percent of the population. As people usually put it, "empaths often have the ability to feel others at several different levels," which includes the ability to understand deeply what a person wants, yearns for, and is actually doing, suffering, or thinking, as well as the ability to feel the physical illnesses of other people. These events manifest as energy waves that can be identified or "tuned in" by the finely tuned Empath. Empaths have an ability that is both a blessing and a curse, generally known as clairsentience and HSPs. The Empath, on the one hand, is an outstanding listener and counselor, who knows the best way to console and support those around them.It is normal for the Empath to be weighted down and continually overburdened by other people's negative emotional energy, frequently causing physical and psychological disharmony. While the Empath has a wonderful gift and is often deeply valued by those around them, they are often questioned and confronted with their inherent gift by a variety of mistaken perceptions. parents, colleagues, or peers growing up as an Empath and maybe even worse. Being sensitive or feeling in our society, which values productivity, cold calculation, and industrial resilience, is not at all trendy or common. If you've been in situations like this, this is the book for you. Not only will you be briefed about who empaths are and what their traits can be but also why they are like that.
