This is the ninth book in a series, that explores the world of Ironside in Meshan Sector in the New Era of Traveller (TNE). Written by former members of the History of The Imperium Working Group New Zealand who detailed Meshan Sector during The New Era, this is a non-commercial publication for use with Traveller. This book provides a brief overview of the world, system data and maps for the world of Ironside. The writeup focusses on the Classic Traveller era mainly, but has notes and specs for the Rebellion and the New Era. Use this as a companion to the more recent and detailed version of the world presented in our generic science fiction world supplement, Far Frontiers Ironside. Ironside is an inhabited human water world in the Meshan Sector. The locals live a quaint maritime lifestyle with many cultural elements derived from their Earthly roots, enriched with some Vilani influences. The world and one of it’s moons was once the subject of active study, as the largest moon showed signs of a terraforming attempt prior to the 2nd Imperium expansion into the sector. High tech artefacts were sometimes discovered.

The writeup focusses on the Classic Traveller era mainly, but has notes and specs for the Rebellion and the New Era. Use this as a companion to the more recent and detailed version of the world presented in our generic science fiction world supplement, Far Frontiers Tibushi. Tibushi is an abandoned world in the Meshan Sector, originally inhabited by human homesteaders trying to carve out a living. It proved too marginal to make a living. The world and the homesteads have been abandoned, but could the odd hermit remain? Is there anything valuable for adventurers? Is anyone using it as a bolthole?

This reference book includes 24 chapters written by a group of experts in the different fields of microfungi and cover a broad range of topics on microfungi. It provides the most updated information on the latest development in systematics and taxonomy of microfungi, new techniques which were developed in the last ten years and their application in microfungal research. After the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (Melbourne Code) was adopted by the Eighteenth International Botanical Congress Melbourne, Australia, July 2011, it has had a profound impact on mycology and its research. Fungal nomenclature changes and its significance to fungal taxonomy and naming of microfungi in the future is discussed in detail. Since dual names system for fungi developing both sexual and asexual states, and fungi developing only asexual state is no longer available, the first five chapters will clarify some confusion and provides perspective views on the direction for future research. The next nine chapters cover microfungi and their ecological roles or functions in the different habitats (air, indoor, aquatic, marine, plants, soils, etc).
