Stroke In Atrial Fibrillation An Issue Of Cardiac Electrophysiology Clinics

Because atrial fibrillation promotes the formation of blood clots that can travel to the brain and block an artery, atrial fibrillation independently increases the risk of ischemic stroke four-to-five-fold.
