"Socialists Don't Sleep is one of those timely books that just points out the roots of what's gone wrong in America, how we can get our country back on track to what founders envisioned and the Judeo-Christian community that holds the key to America's long-term successes." — Gov. Mike Huckabee, New York Times Bestselling author & Host of Huckabee Socialists Don't Sleep: Christians Must Rise or America Will Fall is about all the sneaky ways the secular left has pressed Socialism into American politics and life – AND WHY CHRISTIANS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN STOP IT! Socialists Don't Sleep tells how America has gone from a country of rights coming from God – NOT government – to a country that embraces Socialism – where the US government is now expected to pretty much provide from cradle to the grave. Cheryl K. Chumley, an award-winning journalist and contributing editor to The Washington Times, explains how to return the country to its glory days of God-given, and why Christians, more than any other group, are best equipped to lead the way. “Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — when it comes to socialism in America, these two aren't the problem. Per se. They're simply symptoms of the real problems that usher in Socialism: a dysfunctional entitlement-minded society, a propaganda-pushing school system, a decayed culture, a sieve-like border. As Cheryl Chumley points out in Socialists Don't Sleep, we can't root out socialism unless we first address the real problems.” — Michael Savage, New York Times Bestselling author & host of The Savage Nation

Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 The year was 1775. American delegates had been arguing and weighing the merits of striking a bargain with Britain’s King George III, versus the dangers of declaring themselves a free people, separated from the crown. Some still thought crown–colonists’ relations were salvageable. #2 The speech was delivered by Patrick Henry, a lawyer from Hanover County in Virginia, and it was a pivotal moment in American history. It was a fiery bit of rhetoric that knocked the heads of those disinclined to take decisive action and reminded them that the war had already begun. #3 America is exceptional because of its irrepressible freedom, but it’s also exceptional because of its unapologetic principle. #4 Nelson was a noted politician and military leader, but it was his commitment to principles over personal interests that made him so respected. When the American and French armies closed in on Lord Cornwallis in September 1781, he led the Virginia Militia.

LOCKDOWN A DRY-RUN FOR A SOCIALIST ANTI-FREEDOM AGENDA A TIMELINE TO TYRANNY... In March 2020, as the United States was beginning to feel the ravages of the new coronavirus, and citizens were pressed to stay home, and business owners were forced to close their doors, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to write in all caps: "WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!" The President's words proved prescient...the Democrats pushed for a cure that was FAR WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM... LOCKDOWN is the terrifying story of the topsy-turvy chaotic freefall of American freedoms that saw Democrat governors and their bureaucratic health advisers seize powers the Constitution never gave them, and outright order citizens to stay off the streets, stay out of work, stay at home, stay away from schools, stay far from churches - even as these same Democrat governors and their left-leaning cronies blithely, arrogantly and outrageously did as they pleased. Even as fatalities from the coronavirus fell. Even as the science showed many of the mitigation efforts were fruitless at containing the virus. Even as the selection of establishments targeted for closure grew more and more biased in nature. And hypocritical, elitist and arrogant Democrats continued to use the Covid-19 pandemic to score political points and steal individual rights. America's economy ground to a standstill. American citizens groaned under the weight of government. Relying on her aggressive reporting style, Cheryl Chumley describes and explains the events of the 2020 pandemic policy and its aftermaths and what it means for American freedoms in the future. LOCKDOWN: The Socialist Plan to Take Away Your Freedom tells the story of how hypocritical, elitist and arrogant Democrats used the coronavirus to score political points and steal individual rights and what Americans need to do now: FIGHT FOR FREEDOM FROM THE TYRANTS OF COVID-19

“A crucial warning for Americans about the left’s never-ending lust to steal individual liberties — and the power of God to stop it.” — Everett Piper, Bestselling Author of Grow Up! Lockdown is a terrifying story of not only the chaotic freefall of American freedoms during the opening stages of the COVID pandemic, but the dangerous growth of government power that continues today. Lockdown is a warning that the extraordinary powers invoked by left-wing Democrats and others, justified by claims of public health and safety, have begun the unravelling of America’s constitutional order and our most cherished freedoms. Using COVID-19 as a cover, Democrat leaders and their bureaucratic health advisers seized powers the Constitution never gave them, and ordered citizens to stay off streets and out of public parks, banned them from their workplaces, closed down their schools, and made church attendance a crimes — even as these same leaders and their left-leaning cronies blithely, arrogantly, and outrageously allowed mass protests, kept open abortion clinics and did as they pleased. Relying on her trademark aggressive reporting style, Cheryl K. Chumley explains how the radical left is using pandemic policies as a template for increasing controls over the lives of citizens as they build a one-party, socialist state in America. A sequel to her bestselling book Socialists Don’t Sleep, in Lockdown, Chumley exposes how hypocritical, elitist, and radical leftists are still using the coronavirus to score political points and steal individual rights – as the original pandemic served as dress rehearsal in the march toward the new fascism.

Do you believe we could be on the verge on WW III? The intent of the authors is to warn the reader of impending events that will be devastating to humankind - that is unless people turn to God and away from evil. This prophecy is evidenced in the Holy Bible, the Word of God. For God will not allow our horrendous violence and moral depravity to go unpunished. God’s justice demands the global plagues the world is experiencing and the forthcoming Great Tribulation, nuclear WW III. Do you believe that Donald Trump will be our 47th president? Some Orthodox rabbis in Israel, including Rabbi Yoseph Berger, who oversees King David’s Tomb, predicted that Donald Trump would be victorious in the 2016 presidential election despite fierce opposition from the left wing Democrats. These rabbis determined that Trump’s name in the gematria-Jewish numerology signifies equality with the gematria of the title: “Messiah for the House of David”. These rabbis believe that Trump’s election was the will of God. The authors believe the rabbis are right. Alex and Phyllis posit that Donald Trump is not the Messiah but is a forerunner of the coming Messiah. He will be re-elected in 2024. What’s it all about? I want my country Back! This book also addresses issues and topics current today - Afghanistan, Immigration, COVID, Education and Democrats vs Republicans. This is all in view of the disaster of the Biden Administration and the success and accomplishments of the Trump Administration.

“When Cal Thomas speaks, I try to listen. I’ve been listening to him for a LONG time!" — Mike Huckabee “For more than 40 years, Cal Thomas had a front row seat to some of America's most contentious public policy debates. And for more than four decades, Cal wielded his pen to speak truth to power and to advance traditional conservative values. Cal's stories and tales from that front row—as the watchman—are sure to entertain!” — Mike Pence "A new bestselling page-turner." — Washington Examiner “This is what I have done—and am continuing to do—as I seek to serve God first and then my country.”—Cal Thomas Cal Thomas—one of the most popular syndicated columnists in the country—is America’s “Watchman” in the night. In A Watchman in the Night, Cal Thomas takes the reader on a “road trip” through over fifty years of journalism and American life, serving as a “watchman” on culture and politics and seeking to conform it to a standard that never changes. A watchman “keeps guard over a building at night, to protect it from fire, vandals, or thieves.” Thomas is a believer that certain values and principles never change and has critiqued misbehavior and wrong-headedness by people on “his side” from the start. “If values and Truth mean anything,” Thomas says, “they must be applied equally. Hypocrisy and heresy cannot be ignored no matter the source.” In the book, Thomas does not stigmatize labels, such as “conservative” and “religious,” because Thomas says: “It allows people to define me and others by their perception of those labels. Ask me a question and I will give you my answer. For over fifty years in journalism, Thomas has offered incisive, humorous and often corrective commentary to our social, political, and religious conversations. An early commitment to addressing publicly what he sees has marked Thomas’ entire career. Cal has always called both parties, both sides of the American political divide, to account, to take the high road and to honor our civic and religious ideals with compatible behavior to the very best of our ability. This increasingly “radical” approach to public life has won him many friends on both sides of the political aisle, hundreds of thousands of faithful readers of his columns, and a continuous barrage of accolades and “hate mail,” much of it charming when it is not too foul to repeat. Cal came to the Christian faith while a young journalist at a dinner led by Dr. Richard Halverson, Pastor at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD, and later, Chaplain of the United States Senate. This experience informed the rest of Cal’s life as he hosted his own private dinners for members of the press and members of Congress from both parties leading to deep friendships with Senator Ted Kennedy and many others, friendships which became a hallmark of Cal’s life despite wide political differences. For over two decades, Cal has hosted the National Prayer Breakfast Media Dinner as a continuation of his commitment to the reality that a relationship with Jesus Christ can change a person’s life and ultimately change a nation, and that things of such import are best discussed over dinner. The book includes tones about faith, but focuses on American social, cultural and political currents. A Watchman in the Night: What I’ve Seen Over 50 Years Reporting on America is a living history of our times, of who we were then and who we are now and who we might become (for better or worse) in the future, and a remarkable chronicle of modern American life.

"From the end of the Civil War until the early twentieth century, Anglo, immigrant, and African American settlers were moving north and west faster than ministers within the major denominations could follow them with churches. In 1890, Northern Methodists, the largest Protestant denomination, only claimed 3.5 percent of the American population. Roman Catholics claimed 9.9 percent, and African American Baptists, the largest Black denomination, claimed only 18 percent of the African American population. In total, under 30 percent of Americans went to church on a weekly basis. While African American churches served a relatively larger role within their communities, the major white denominations played a minor role in the lives of the working poor. Clergymen like Dwight Moody reflected, "The gulf between the churches and the mases is growing deeper, wider and darker every hour." Home missionaries like Josiah Strong warned, "Few appreciate how we have become a non-churchgoing-people." Strong was right. In large fractions of the country, especially mining and industrial centers in the West, a simple lack of church edifices and long-term ministers to fundraise for them gave way to a vacuum of Protestant, denominational authority. In part, this disconnect between the number of churches and the size of the population was a result of culturally dislocated migrants. In 1890, more than 9 million Americans were foreign-born, and only a small fraction of those Americans had any familiarity with Anglo-Protestant traditions. They were joined by another 1 million African Americans migrants from the South to northern industrial centers. But this was only one of many reasons the poor did not go to church with the wealthy. While middle-class families paid lip service to the importance of building capacious churches, their own policies and practices reinforced the class system. As one minister reflected in 1887, "The working men are largely estranged from the Protestant religion. Old churches standing in the midst of crowded districts are continually abandoned because they do not reach the workingmen." Meanwhile, he continued, "Go into an ordinary church on Sunday morning and you see lawyers, physicians, merchants and business men with their families [-]you see teachers, salesmen, and clerks, and a certain proportion of educated mechanics, but the workingman and his household are not there." As the working-classes swelled with the expansion of American factories, ordained Protestant ministers served an ever-dwindling proportion of the country"--

In this short primer, Gorski and Perry explain what white Christian nationalism is and is not; when it first emerged and how it has changed; where it's headed and why it threatens democracy. Tracing the development of this ideology over the course of three centuries and especially its influence over the last three decades, they show how white Christian nationalism motivates the anti-democratic, authoritarian, and violent impulses on display in our current political moment.
