Environmentalism and ecology are areas of rapid growth in academia and society at large. The stunning portrayals of the Canadian landscape in the documentaries produced by the National Film Board of Canada, not only influenced cinematic language but shaped our perception of the environment. Environmental stress screening (ESS) has become one of the primary approaches in the modern electronic industry to precipitate and eliminate latent or hidden defects in electronic products which are introduced mainly during the manufacturing, assembling and packaging processes.
