Sauder Family History

Samuel Gehman Sauder, son of Jacob Sauder (1811-1881) and Hannah Gehman, was born 22 November 1842 in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Eaby (1846-1927), daughter of Peter Eaby and Anna Ranck, in 1869. They had six children. He died in 1925. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania.

This is a genealogical book describing a vast number of descendants from the Sauder family. It chronicles several generations, going back all the way to the origin of the surname. It is a wonderful reference of family history.

Ferdinand Sauder was born 25 March 1845 in Helba, Saxon-Meiningen, Germany. His parents were Heinrich Georg Wittich and Christine Sauder. He married Sophia Reitner (1849-1931), daughter of Thekla Reiter, 12 September 1868. They had thirteen children. He died in 1926 in Pomona, California.

Henry Weber (1690-1745) immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1709. Descendant, Levi Weaver, married Esther Sauder, daughter of Peter Sauder and Esther Hoffman, in about 1864. They had six children.
