What we have forgotten is to create with love Not with Our egos, thoughts, fears or beliefs, But with Love Or perhaps better said I had forgotten It seems that in the dark crevasses of our minds; there linger thoughts that we dare not speak or act upon for fear of reprisal of others. There are also things we dare not believe for the same reasons. Sometimes we create that which we believe after we have been convinced that it is the truth and there by creating it to be the truth; when in fact it is nothing more than an elusion of the truth. We can become so convinced that even when evidence of the opposite is there we refuse to see it. Sometimes we become convinced that it is better to live a lie; than to face the hardship of truth. That is something we all know to well. But by living that lie we pass it on to our children. That is a crime that I too am guilty of even though I know better.

Just a thought: Sometimes there is nothing finer than breaking all the rules and reaching for the sky. Especially if those rules were meant to confine you, us instead of uplifting us. Then it becomes almost a heavenly act. As with everything, there is an art to breaking all the rules. It needs to be done in such a manner that it harms no one. But instead it lifts us and gives us a new horizon to reach for. Publishers, publishing houses, you got to love them; you can't do this! It's never been done like this! O no not possible! Everything is connected to everything. O' please feed me sweet nothings but don't make me face the truth again, not again.

Being a Christian means learning to love with God's love. But God's love is not a warm feeling in the pit of the stomach. It has definite characteristics we learn in the course of our life, in the behavior and teaching of the early monastics, as we ponder over what we can say about God as God deals with us, and finally, as we model our own lives on what we have learned.

Prayer is an integral aspect of the love of God and neighbor, which to many is the ultimate goal of a fulfilling Christian life. However, many want to find a way to pray but are unable to understand or justify prayer theologically. Still others believe that God will not support them in the midst of cosmic hurt. This book addresses these concerns.

The fetus flinched and curled and fought against the fists that beat at it, daily- the fists of its mother who tried to beat it out of existence so she could deny it, so she could cover her own shame, humiliation and abandonment, her own mistake. The horses her mother rode jogging her fetus furiously, sourrounded by wild agitation. The damage from the turpentine ingestion that was of the emryotic fluid in which she swam that was supposed to abort her and she wondered what else she endured for she had no names to fit the crimes. The crime of attempted murder before she was born. And born she was! 4 1/2 pounds with a twisted left foot and refusing mother's milk, unable to hold down a formula, losing weight. Once there, there could be no denying her. Her baby picture was cute, she was bunkled in knitted fluff, a copy was sent to him, the seed donner. He still didn't want her.
