The Second International Conference on Press-in Engineering (ICPE) 2021 was organized by the International Press-in Association (IPA). The conference is held every three years and the main theme this time is "Evolution and Social Contribution of Press-in Engineering for Infrastructure Development, and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation". These proceedings contain 2 keynote lectures, 3 state-of-the-art lectures and about 60 papers from more than 10 countries. This publication provides good practice guidance on the application of the press-in piling method, to satisfy the requirements of geo-structures which are embedded utilizing prefabricated piles. Proceedings of the Second International Conference on Sustainable Construction Materials: Design, Performance, and Application, held in Wuhan, China, October 18?22, 2012. Sponsored by Wuhan University of Technology; Delft University of Technology; Eindhoven University of Technology; Southeast University; Arizona State University; International Society for Concrete Pavements (ISCP), Construction Institute of ASCE; and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This collection contains 37 peer-reviewed papers discussing the latest research on pavement materials that support sustainable infrastructure development. About half the papers examine the use of cementitious paving materials, including studies on the rheological behavior of fresh cement mortar; the effects of small recycled aggregate fractions in concrete production; and early-age cracking. The remaining papers focus on bituminous paving materials and explore such issues as asphalt aging, maintenance of porous asphalt cement pavements, and emissions of volatile organic compounds. The use of recycled materials, such as waste tire rubber and rubber powder, and of waste materials, such as reclaimed asphalt pavement, crumb rubber, and coal tar pitch, is also covered. Many papers include descriptions of projects from around the world, including China, Libya, Sudan, South Africa, Belgium, and Austria. First published in 1998. A collection of papers presented at the Proceedings of the Eighth Japan-U.S. Conference On Composite Materials, SEPTEMBER 24 to 25 , 1998. The conference is organized by Wayne State University and American Society for Composites in cooperation with U.S. Organizing Committee and the Japanese Organizing Committee. Since the Seventh Meeting in Kyoto in 1995, this meeting brings together accomplished composite researchers between the two countries to share latest developments and advances in the field. The scope of the current conference ranges over all aspects of composite materials with some emphasis on infrastructure applications of composites. Key areas in composites are covered by 110 papers with 35 presentations from Japan.
