I was Atheena, a mortal Princess of Veer... At the forging of Dalvorren, a song was woven into the fabric of time, and thus the war for mastery over the land ensued. Nearly two thousand years after the Landings of Men, a daughter named Atheena is born to the King of Veer. She grows into a lovely young woman, unaware of her destiny until the enemies of Men begin ruthlessly hunting her. Stolen from her homeland, she must endure the crucibles of captivity, awaiting her rescuer, a mysterious stranger whom her father upholds as the Morning Star. As the Last Battle draws ever nearer, the enemies of Men marshal their forces while Atheena and those loyal to the Morning Star await the Unveiling, the day when their greatest champion will be revealed to the world and will bring his might to bear against the forces of evil. Though the enemies of Men seem to be sovereign, Atheena's doom is not in their grasp but is written into that ancient song: Onuuonath Keeril, the Ascension of the Morning Star.
