This volume contains a selection of articles that were originally presented at the Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching International Conference and Exhibition (ALLT 2022), held at Zayed University, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in March 2022. The articles in this volume represent the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and research interests of the ALLT presenters. They cover a range of theoretical, empirical, and pedagogical practices with a strong emphasis on language teaching. While most of the papers focus on English language, the findings and lessons are applicable to the teaching of any language. The three-volume set LNICST 465, 466 and 467 constitutes the proceedings of the Second EAI International Conference on Application of Big Data, Blockchain, and Internet of Things for Education Informatization, BigIoT-EDU 2022, held as virtual event, in July 29–31, 2022. The 204 papers presented in the proceedings were carefully reviewed and selected from 550 submissions. BigIoT-EDU aims to provide international cooperation and exchange platform for big data and information education experts, scholars and enterprise developers to share research results, discuss existing problems and challenges, and explore cutting-edge science and technology. The conference focuses on research fields such as “Big Data” and “Information Education. It was firstly conducted in 2013 as International Seminar on English Language and Teaching (ISELT). This event consistently invites reputed speakers and having competence in English Language Teaching from around the world.

The rapid advancement of technology has created new civilization in this digital era which affects almost all aspects of life including language, literature, culture, and education. The digital era brings opportunities as well as challenges that people have to deal with. Thus, some adjustments need to be done in order to keep up with those changes. Studies on language, literature, culture, and education need to be continuously conducted and developed to revitalize those aspects in facing the dynamic changes of the digital era. In relation to this, Faculty of Language and Literature Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (FPBS UPI) hosts this year’s International Conference on Language, Literature and Culture (ICOLLITE) with the theme “Revitalization of Language, Literature, Culture, and Education in the Digital Era” as a forum for experts and professionals to share their research, ideas, and experiences on this issue. This is an open access book. Based on technological developments in learning English, the English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Universitas Islam Malang plans to hold the fourth conference (The 4th ICON-ELT 2023) with the theme "The Future of ELT in the Digital Age: Issues and Innovations" on 30–31 August 2023. This conference will explore the challenges and opportunities of teaching English in the digital era. In addition, the sub-themes carry issues related to curriculum, inclusive education, linguistics, etc. This seminar will provide a forum for discussion and collaboration among researchers and English teachers and will allow them to share best practices, experiences, research findings, and innovations in teaching English.
