Land of Sweet Dreams was born out of the author's need to get her little boys to sleep. It is written with the hope that it will help parents the world over to address the age old nightly challenge: how do I get my little ones to sleep'. For most of us, the bedtime routine is the same: bath, supper, prayer, a bedtime story, and a goodnight kiss. "Sweet dreams" is usually the last thing said before they go to sleep. The author decided to take those words literally. After frequent failed attempts to get her boys to sleep, the author took a path that appealed to the boys' colorful imaginations, and their love of mouthwatering treats. With the author's creativity, and the boys love of everything sweet, land of sweet dreams came to life. This is a land that kids are happy to visit in their dreams and parents are happy is only a dream. This adventure is sure to encourage any child to close his eyes and drift off into this whimsical dreamland. Once asleep, this land comes to life with vivid colors, and the most delightful sweets, such as, cotton candy, ice cream, candy canes, candied apples, marshmallows, muffins, and other treats.
