Islamic Plan for Life is the second book in a series of 5 books. It is preceded by Islamic Belief System. Islamic Plan for Life studies the practical plan of Islam for achieving happiness. The goal of this book is to help readers to know and take the path drawn by intellect and revelation for achieving individual and social happiness. In addition to discussing both the individual and social moral system and the individual and social behavioral system in Islam, Islamic Plan for Life reviews Islamic plans for supporting the family and providing order, justice, and welfare in the society. Then, for making the theoretical discussions more tangible, the book discusses the efforts of Muslims in implementation of the Islamic plan for life and changing the culture of the Age of Ignorance to a divine-human culture. At the end, it examines the religious culture in comparison with ethnic culture and the issue of Islamic identity.Studying this book independently is possible; its content completes the topics in the Islamic Belief System. The reader of the two books will receive teachings about proving the existence of God and knowledge about some of His attributes and actions, and then will know about the human being, his existential aspects and his moral and spiritual capacities. Then, he will learn that human being, in addition to benefitting from the general guidance that every being benefits from, is also guided exceptionally through intellect and revelation. Benefitting from and using received guidance through intellect and revelation brings about worldly and otherworldly happiness to human beings and the society. Discussions regarding theology, knowing human, revelation and prophethood, the hereafter and happiness are included in the Islamic Belief System.

This book is based on a series of 30 lectures delivered by the author on Islamic Ethics in Qum in winter 2012. The series was delivered as a course for a correspondence degree on the subject. Each lecture was around 25 minutes and was recorded in a studio. Thanks to God, the series has been used by correspondence students from the academic year 2012-2013 till now. Due to the importance of the subject on the one hand, and need for more texts on the subject in English on the other, it was decided to publish it as a book as well. After preparing the transcripts, the text was edited and references were added. Some parts which were more philosophical were removed. We are now pleased to present this humble book to our dear readers. It is hoped that they will find it useful for their study of Islamic morals and find it of help in their personal moral development. At the same time, I admit that 6 more work needs to be done on this in order to make it more precise and concise.

Islam is on the rise all over the West, including America. In this compelling new book, bestselling author Erwin Lutzer urges Christians to see this as both an opportunity to share the gospel and a reason for concern. We have now reached a tipping point—the spread of Islam is rapidly altering the way we live. These changes are cause for alarm, for they endanger our freedoms of speech and religion. At the same time, this opens an incredible door of ministry for Christians, for Muslims normally do not have access to the gospel in their own lands. In The Cross in the Shadow of the Crescent, readers will discover helpful answers to these questions and more: How does Islam’s growing influence affect me personally? In what ways are our freedoms of speech and religion in danger? How can I extend Christ’s love to Muslims around me? A sensitive, responsible, and highly informative must-read!

In this authoritative biography, historian John Man brings Saladin and his world to life with vivid detail in "a rollicking good story" (Justin Marozzi). Saladin remains one of the most iconic figures of his age. As the man who united the Arabs and saved Islam from Christian crusaders in the twelfth century, he is the Islamic world's preeminent hero. A ruthless defender of his faith and brilliant leader, he also possessed qualities that won admiration from his Christian foes. But Saladin is far more than a historical hero. Builder, literary patron, and theologian, he is a man for all times, and a symbol of hope for an Arab world once again divided. Centuries after his death, in cities from Damascus to Cairo and beyond, to the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf, Saladin continues to be an immensely potent symbol of religious and military resistance to the West. He is central to Arab memories, sensibilities, and the ideal of a unified Islamic state. John Man charts Saladin's rise to power, his struggle to unify the warring factions of his faith, and his battles to retake Jerusalem and expel Christian influence from Arab lands. Saladin explores the life and enduring legacy of this champion of Islam while examining his significance for the world today.

The well-known invocation called Tasbih of Lady Fatimah (a) is a common practice among believers as it is recommended to recite it frequently, especially after the daily prayers. As a result of its common practice, there is great need to know more about its significance and meaning. In this book, we are going to reflect on the performance, the merits, history, and meaning of the Tasbiḥ of Lady Fatimah (a), particularly in light of a more general discussion on tasbih, or glorification of Allah (swt), to enable us to benefit more from it in our life journey. There are many references to this tasbih. For example, when recommended supplications after the daily ritual prayer (ta‘qībāt) are brought up in our major hadith compilations, this tasbih is highlighted. Moreover, this tasbih is also studied in the field of jurisprudence (fiqh) in association with daily prayers, and in the books on early history of Islam in association with the events of the life of Lady Fatimah (a) and Imam Ali (a). The present work was initially conceived of as a series of three lectures delivered in Feb 2019 in London on the occasion of the demise anniversary of Lady Fatimah. The lectures were 6 later organised and revised with references checked and bibliographical data added.

With everything going on around us, it is difficult to focus on what truly matters. We are often overwhelmed in our lives; so focused on the details that we forget the big picture. It is important to take a step back and take a look at the master plan. There is more to life than the little annoyances, the daily grind, and even the temporary moments of happiness we may experience. This book is divided into six parts. The intention of each part is to help us take a step back and refocus our energy and attention on a Muslim's true-life purpose, thus helping us impalement our Islamic faith accurately. The first part is, "The Purpose of Life." When we do things, we have to do them with right intention. We must fully understand why we are here and what Allah SWT wants from us. Understanding the purpose of life helps us to have balanced lives and to have patience towards the less desirable moments in our lives, keeping in mind our priorities and duties assigned to us by Allah SWT. The Second part is, "Islamic Principles." We are here to navigate life, but as any wayfarer on a journey knows, one must have a compass to know which direction to go. This is where Islam comes in. In Islam we find a simple and universal religion. If we impalement the simple principles of Islam and the example of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH and fulfill our roles as Muslims than our presence on this earth becomes momentous. Islam becomes a blessing for us and for those around us.The third part is, "Islamic Way of Life." Surely navigating this life is difficult but Allah SWT has blessed us in giving us direction. The codes that Allah SWT has given us through his messenger Muhammad PBUH, the ways he asks us to behave, the dangers he asks us to keep away from are all for our own benefit. They are given to us in order to help us navigate through this life so that we can arrive soundly at our final destination, Jannah Insha'Allah. The fourth part is, "Our Journey Together." On this journey called life we must remember that we are not islands. We need each other, as by nature we are social beings. In fact, it is why isolation is considered a form of torture. As we go on life's journey we have companions that are a part of the sweetness of this life. With this great blessing from Allah SWT comes great responsibility towards these companions. The fifth part is, "Our Hereafter." Allah SWT has blessed us with being able to see parts of the future as He as described them to us. He has warned us of what is to come so that we can have a stronger motivation now to do better. This section is meant as a motivation so that we can remember that our eternal abode is what deserves the most of our attention. Finally, the sixth part is, "Timeless Stories of Inspiration." There are people that have gone through this journey of life before us. We can learn from their stories and we can use the stories as a source of inspiration. It is the intention that these sections help us understand that there is a bigger picture in life. And what is by far the most beautiful thing of all is that this master plan of our life is created by the Most Generous, the Most Merciful, and the All-Knowing Allah SWT. I don't claim that all ideas and thoughts in this book belong to me. It is the accumulation of knowledge and thoughts of numerous Muslim scholars for several generations. I must give credits to Imam Mohammed Al-Ghazali of Egypt, Sheikh Al-Nabulsi, Imam Al-Muhassibi, Dr. Amr Khalid, Dr. Al-Marzouki and Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud. Most of these thoughts and inspirations originally come from two sources, The Quran and the Sunnah. Any good that comes from this book is from Him and any errors are my own.
