The International Journal of Sociotechnology and Knowledge Development (IJSKD) wishes to publish papers that offer a detailed analysis and discussion on sociotechnical philosophy and practices which underpin successful organizational change thus building a more promising future for today's societies and organizations. It will encourage interdisciplinary texts that discuss current practices as well as demonstrating how the advances of - and changes within - technology affect the growth of society (and vice versa). The aim of this journal is to bring together the expertise of people who have worked practically in a changing society across the world for people in the field of organizational development and technology studies including information systems development and implementation.

The International Journal of Nanotechnology and Molecular Computation (IJNMC) publishes groundbreaking and innovative research in all areas of nanotechnology and molecular computation. These include, but are not limited to, theoretical, empirical, and technological research on all forms of molecular and chemical computing (DNA, RNA, peptide, etc.), membrane computing, carbon nanotubes and other nanoscale devices, quantum information processing, nanocomputation, algorithmic assembly and morphogenesis, complex adaptive matter and intelligent materials, molecular machines, nanorobotics, and new computational paradigms appropriate to nanotechnology. IJNMC is especially seeking papers in the fruitful interdisciplinary field where nanoscience and computer science meet. IJNMC encourages submissions in all areas of nanotechnology and molecular computation. These include, but are not limited to, theoretical, empirical, and technological research on all forms of molecular and chemical computing (DNA, RNA, peptide, etc.), membrane computing, carbon nanotubes and other nanoscale devices, quantum information processing, nanocomputation, algorithmic assembly and morphogenesis, complex adaptive matter and intelligent materials, molecular machines, nanorobotics, and new computational paradigms appropriate to nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology seems to escape boundaries and definitions. The “Rush to Nanoscale” spreads throughout different sites and arenas, involving a multiplicity of actors, meanings, and spaces in which they emerge. The ‘uncertainty of nanotechnology’ appears to be both a condition and a consequence of this situation. This volume adds to the collective effort of charting the multiple and heterogeneous dimensions that characterise nanotechnology, by analysing the numerous modalities through which different stakeholders and actors provide definitions, attribute meaning and sense to nano-enabled innovations. The chapters of the book attempt to highlight how nanotechnologies, their discourse, and their actual and potential implications cannot be isolated in laboratories, factories, markets, and separate discussion arenas. Also, the volume examines how it is apparently not possible to bind and/or confine the definition of nanotechnology by referring exclusively to present-day research and applications, as well as to geographical, cultural, and even disciplinary boundaries. Considered together, this collection of essays suggests that the ‘societal experiment’ of nanotechnology has to be explored with a vocabulary that is not just scientific and technical, in order to cross the frontiers between multiple domains, actors, identities, translations, and negotiation processes that occur in the nanotechnology field.

In addition, he used select serials-related databases to account for pertinent documents from countries in which English is not the primary national language (i.e., China Online Journals, e-periodica, J-STAGE, and SciELO Brazil among others).
