Improving Comparability In The National Nutrition Monitoring And Related Research Program

The Ten-Year Comprehensive Plan for Nutrition Monitoring and Related Research is designed to establish a comprehensive national nutrition monitoring and related research program. This report reflects the work of the Survey Comparability Working Group of the Interagency Board for Nutrition Monitoring and Related Research. The Working Group collected and examined detailed background information on commonly used population descriptors included in the surveys of the National Nutrition Monitoring and Related Research Program. This report includes surveys that collect data on population descriptors, and nutrition and related health variables or knowledge, attitudes, and behavior assessments.
