A Simple Odyssey is a story set in the 1970's. It's a lighthearted look at the travels of Albert. Albert is a naive young man in his twenties that decides to leave the comfort of his couch and travel through Nevada. He meets with hippies, angry waitresses, cowboys with attitudes, and stoners. He gets thrown from a horse, and chased by a cow. The cast of characters are as varied as life itself. It's a fun book to read.

Real men, according to FTF, are physically courageous and confident, and keep doubts and insecurities to themselves.
