Excerpt from Geology and Ore Deposits of the Tintic Mining District, Utah The field examination was made in the last two summer months of 1911, and the district was revisited for a short time by Mr. Loughlin in 1913 and by both authors in 1914. Mr. Loughlin also assisted in the examination of some of the mines and studied the oxidized zinc ores. The resurvey was confined chie y to the area of the mining district proper (pl. IV, in pocket).
