Gee Family Tree

Formerly PR6863.

Charles Gee was born in about 1660. He married Hañah Drury in about 1693. They lived in Charles City County, Virginia and had four known sons and a daughter. He died in 1709. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia and West Virginia.

Transcript of talk given by Margaret Gee to the Wodonga Historical Society on 5th December 2000, giving some history of the Gee family of Woragee. Also her father's wartime experiences as a prisoner of war.

James Drumright (ca.1726-1756) married Sarah Williams, and lived in Lunenburg County, Virginia. Their one son, William Drumright (174 1828), married three times, served in the Revolutionary War, and moved to Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere. Includes various Drumright immigrants and some of their descendants, without tracing relationship to James and his progeny.
