Storage potatoes appeared to be in a weak position, as southern stock arrived in heavier volume. Texas Bermuda onions recovered nicely from recent low levels, and eastern apple markets showed a firmer tone. The week's shipments of 20 fruits and vegetables decreased slightly to cars, but were 13% heavier than shipments of the same period last season.
