Pupil of Paul Delaroche. Made his debut in the Salon, Paris, 1841. Chevalier of the Legion of Honor. Medal at Philadelphia, 1876. Examples of his work were purchased by the French Government for the museums at Orleans and Avignon and for the Luxembourg. Died, 1878.
