Excerpt from Catalogue of the Maps in the Collection of the Geographic Board: List of the Maps Corrected to 1st January, 1922 To meet the great demand for the catalogue it has been found necessary to print a new. Edition. The twelve hundred maps listed originally included most modern ones of importance up to 1st January, 1918. Since then over five hundred maps have been added to the Board's collection. The present edition of the catalogue includes, with very few exceptions, all maps issued during recent years up to lst January, 1922. Only a few maps of early date were included in the original catalogue. The present edition lists a large proportion of the more important maps of Canada issued since the seventeenth century. With a few exceptions, maps on a scale greater than a mile to an inch have not been catalogued. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
