Elementary school teacher Teresa Anderson goes to the home of her recently dead colleague, Rachel Evanson, to assist in removing her personal effects. Qualifications--I do not have a degree in English, nor have I "free-lanced" except for a few church bulletins throughoutthe years. However, I have written short stories since I was a teenager, and have practiced writing novelsas well. The novel I will be sending in is the first that actually "wrote itself"--I struggled with the others.This novel has something to say, and the prose is clear and readable, so I decided it was time to test it out.Something more personal--Christianity has been my life since I was twenty years of age, and the Lord's guidance in my life and actionsholds an important place in my accomplishments. The novel should reflect this, although it is fiction.Where I live/personal life--I live in Rowlett, Tx, just outside of Dallas city limits. I am married and have three children, two dogs, and ason-in-law. I worked retail for over 20 years. I belong to the Lutheran--Missouri Synod Church, taking partin choir and other activities. My other hobbies are weather, especially storm watch, and I have studiedsciences such as physics and chemistry, and math (higher calculus). I enjoy studying history, Bible historyincluded.

This book is based on a true story. It is about our grandpa BW and the love he had for his family. He was a very influential and strong yet gentle man, loved by many. When he became sick he was still a positive example of strength while fighting his health challenges. During one of his last surgeries, Grammy prayed, "Lord, I can take hearing a code blue during surgery if you will take him and show him who you are and who he is in you." Grandpa went toward the light during that surgery; and as he did, he later told us, he could look down at the operating room and see his body lying on the table. He saw the doctors and nurses, not as people but as balls of light, yet he was aware that he instinctively knew which one was the doctor and which ones were the nurses. Shortly after, Grandpa BW passed away, Stars, a source of light, began to appear everywhere. Stars are the symbol of love Grandpa BW said he was going to be just before he passed away.
