Analisis Retos Y Problemas En Materia De Seguridad Publica Con Especial Atencion Al Desafio Yihadista En El Ambito Local

La Seguridad Pública como servicio a la ciudadanía constituye un pilar fundamental en la idea que tenemos de Estado moderno, relacionada con el concepto de Estado de bienestar. Los ciudadanos, que son los destinatarios del servicio, demandan cada vez más una mayor paz social y son los Entes Locales, por su cercanía a éstos, los mejor posicionados para la recepción de sus peticiones y la actuación rápida que exige el día a día. Pese a ello, la regulación nacional está en disonancia con esta realidad, y nos encontramos con una seguridad local infra regulada y con problemas de coordinación y solapamiento de funciones con el resto de Cuerpos y Fuerzas de Seguridad. A esta problemática ha de sumarse la amenaza yihadista. Esta nueva forma de terrorismo actúa contra las grandes ciudades e intenta destruir el modo de vida de sus ciudadanos. Ante esto, el presente trabajo de investigación pretende abordar varios interrogantes fundamentales. Entre otros, ¿cuál es la relevancia de la seguridad local y las policías municipales en la acción preventiva del terrorismo y cómo influyen los problemas antes mencionados en la prestación de los servicios públicos locales, y más concretamente, en la organización y tutela de la seguridad pública en el ámbito local? ¿Cuáles son las medidas a tomar?
