American Foreign Policy Basic Documents 1977 1980

Presents those official documents that best express the goals and objectives of American foreign policy. Included are the texts of major official messages, addresses, statements, reports and communications by the White House, the Department of State, and other Federal agencies or officials involved in the foreign policy process. Also presents some documents on matters of major concern to the United States which were issued by other governments or by international organizations.

A Decade of American Foreign Policy was prepared at the request of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations by the Staff of the Foreign Relations Committee and the United States Department of State in 1950. this is the first of two volumes comprising Document No. 123 of the 81st Congress, 1st Session.
