Excerpt from Laws of the State of Illinois: Passed by the Thirteenth General Assembly, at Their Regular Session, Began and Held at Springfield, on the Fifth of December, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty-Two Sec. 9. If at any time any corporation created under Corporation this 'act shall violate any of its provisions, it shall be the duty $33 be Vaca' ofthe Attorney General when he may have knowledge thereof, to file an information in the nature of a quo warranto, for the purpose of vacating the same; Provided, in that case the trustees shall have the right of selling all the property. Real and personal, belonging to such corporation, and after paying all its debts, the balance, if any, shall be distributed pro rata among the stockholders thereof. D. 1893, and Adjourned Sine Die on the 16th Day of June, A. D. 1893 Seventeenth - That part of the Eleventh ward lying north of the center line of West Lake street, and the Seventeenth and Eighteenth wards in the city of Chicago in the county of Cook, shall constitute the Seventeenth district. Eighteenth - The counties of Ford and Vermilion shall consti tute the Eighteenth district. Nineteenth - The Thirteenth ward and all of the Sixteenth ward except that part lying northeasterly of the center line of Milwaukee avenue and east of the center line of Noble street and south of the center line of West Division street and the north branch of the Chicago River in the city of Chicago, in the county of Cook, shall constitute the Nineteenth district.
