Accustomed from early age to much endurance and applica tion, endowed with a strong and a sound constitution, and enjoying through life uninterruptedly good health, for all which he cannot be snficiently grateful to an almighty and gracious Providence, he has been enabled to pursue his avocations, notwithstanding the interruptions alluded to, with much less loss of time in the restoration of the powers of nature in sleep than is generally required.
